is why she works so hard to help you feel like you are in a safe space to talk about whatever it is that is bothering you!
A little about Bethany
Bethany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who grew up in Apex, NC. After pursuing collegiate basketball, Bethany received a Bachelor of Social Work from NC State University and a Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill.
Bethany started her career providing mental health services to children in a residential setting before transitioning to outpatient therapy. She is passionate about her clinical work and loves to empower others throughout their journey in counseling!
Bethany enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults to find solutions to challenges including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, grief and loss, relationships, self-esteem & stress management.
Bethany works to create a space in therapy where clients can freely express themselves.
In her clinical practice, Bethany utilizes a variety of clinical approaches to best meet each client’s needs including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy-informed, mindfulness, trauma-informed, family systems, and behavior modification.
It is Bethany’s philosophy that we all need a little support sometimes to build on our strengths and grow from challenges. Bethany understands how difficult it can be to talk to a stranger, and she strives to form a therapeutic relationship with her clients to make a vulnerable process a little more comfortable.
