You can be the change.....Chantel will tell you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a licensed North Carolina educator. I received my Master's of Education in Counseling and Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I am a North Carolina Native. I reside in Wake County with my family. In my spare time I walk the green way with my toddler and dog. I love spending time outdoors sipping on coffee as I rejuvenate from a busy week. My favorite comfort snack is Cherry pull and twist twizzlers. I love to travel when possible and catch up on the latest research on ways to work with at-risk youth and adolescents dealing with trauma.
Teaching young children how to express themselves in a healthy way is an integral part of childhood

Children are our future
Chantel loves working with children and their families as they continue to grow and experience transitions in their lives. She understands that there are many things that influence how childre respond to life. She utilizes motivational interviewing techniques to help kids and young adults to make the change they need to in their lives.
The use of this technique enables young adults that they have the power to make their own decisions and as a result they can decide to change. Affirmations are used to build a rapport. This approach helps to engage with the most challenging young adults.
She offers a trustworthy, respectful partnership combined with a warm and accepting personality that fosters growth in her clients. She believes that children truly are our future, we should guide them well as they walk the way towards a successful life!
