Okay, I don't like to really brag but when it comes to badassery, I am all in! I am all about showing up & doing whatever I need to get done to be the very best version of me. Corny, right? Meet my latest challenge- Rapid Resolution Therapy®
Before the global pandemic of Covid-19 hit, I was the practice owner of a successful group practice with offices in Apex & Pittsboro. We offered school-based counseling for Chatham County schools as well. We were busily committed to being the very best professionals that we could. We "moved" online in under 48 hours and were able to meet the critical needs of our clients throughout the beginning of the pandemic and we have continued to be an ever expanding group practice offering virtual therapy all across North Carolina (thanks to insurance companies finally paying for telehealth).
While this was a great victory for therapists, it was an even bigger victory for people who normally would not be able to attend to their emotional needs due to a huge range of issues like transportation, work obligations, ect.
Several months prior to Covid-19 hitting us like a train, I had begun to feel an even stronger pull to get in better connection with my own life source energy. Another deep-dive occurred. Some would say that I have always been a bit "woo-woo" but it was kinda surface level for me.
I understood a few things about the more spiritual side of life and believed that everything happened for a reason and dabbled in aromatherapy. I am now very proud to say that I live a sixth-sensory life as a result of that deep dive. I use my intuition in some very cool ways (in my humble opinion) like reading tarot cards, using pendulums, prayer, meditation, energy work, gemstone therapy and even crystal healing. I was building my own personal coping systems.
Shortly after Covid-19 hit, I experienced a very, very deep sense of despair, confusion & even frustration. No one knew what was up or what was down. People were fighting over toilet paper (Smh) as if that was going to keep them safe. As a nation, we became more divided than ever and violence was being seen everywhere on social media and in real life. No one felt safe. We, as a nation, began to experience a sense of despair, sadness, fear and had no idea what to do.
We were experiencing collective trauma! On top of that I was experiencing the same compassion fatigue and burnout as the rest of my colleagues. The issues that our current clients were experiencing was the exact same issues that we were also dealing with on one level or another.
As a group practice, we put on our big kid clothes and buckled down! The fact that we were only so many therapists in the practice and many practices were in the same boat (a great problem to have, mind you), I felt very frustrated on a professional level. But have no fear, I don't back down when I experience these emotions- on some weird level is motivated me to show up better than I was before.
So, like any badass (brushes off her right shoulder, LOL), I started searching for quicker ways to help clients and myself get through such trying times. I did deep-dives in a few hundred "masterclasses" searching for what felt "right" in me through my role as an therapist, healer and human being. I spent a lot of my time reading and studying different healing modalities.
My own path was rocky and little touch and go for a while (my fiancé lost his job, kids were coming home from college, work from home (in constant chaos) and complete isolation from my tribe, you know the drill) and I was on the struggle bus just like my clients were. I stumbled upon Rapid Resolution Therapy® after watching a TedTalk by Kristin Rivas and I started researching RRT and took a nose dive right into it. At the same time, I had also just taken my Reiki Level 2 certification and was very much understanding that my higher purpose was even higher than I had originally felt. I wanted to heal more people and have the biggest positive impact that I could on the world, one person at a time. I somehow felt that it was a "calling" from within.
I began training in RRT under Dr. Connelly, Ph.D himself and was equally inspired by how quickly, easily and painlessly he was able to clear away trauma and make it fun too! I saw a level of creativity that I often felt restricted to bring to sessions, myself. In under 4 hours, he could clear childhood trauma that had haunted people subconsciously for years- I mean, it blew my mind! I had never seen therapeutic tools or modalities like this before and it baffled me. Is he a magician? What is he doing there? Whaaaaat? He offered us all the opportunity to sign up for a free session on his webcast Shifts and Transformations.
My fiancé (remember, he lost his job and was on the struggle bus, not knowing what to do next?) decided to take advantage of this opportunity. In a 45 minute session with Dr. Connelly he was able to get his mind free and clear of some childhood crap and self-esteem issues that were coming up for him after Covid-19 hit and he lost his job(yes, we all got some of this). He is now an even better version of himself and is training to be an RRT practitioner, NLP practitioner and Certified Life Coach as I type this! The results that I saw only further motivated me to keep training and offer this to as many people as I can.
I am now a member of the Rapid Resolution Therapy Institute and am in advanced training as a Rapid Resolution Therapy® Facilitator.
Here comes the cool part for this badass. Part of my dedication to learning is to practice the RRT methods as much as possible with as many people as I can while I gain mastery and people get to experience feeling free and clear through my application of RRT. I am currently offering a limited amount of FREE & REDUCED RATE RRT sessions (limited time...and I am a quick learner so don't delay!) to those who are open making a transformation in their lives and couldn't normally afford RRT sessions. To sign up for a free session, fill out the form below and I will be in touch to get you scheduled!
