In light of recent global health concerns related to COVID-19, Peak Professional Group, PLLC has developed a telehealth program where you can receive your counseling/therapy services virtually. While, for some this is not the "best" way to get therapy- we are forward thinking and want all of our clients to be safe and healthy. Our Virtual Visit program is easy to use with no downloads needed and you can get the help that you need without having to leave your home! We have been notified that some health insurance companies are being proactive and allowing telehealth services to be provided, even if your plan does not normally allow this. Please check with your insurance plan to make sure!
In the meantime, Peak is diligently cleaning and sanitizing our work areas which include our session rooms and waiting areas- doing our very best to keep both staff and clients as healthy as possible. Having said that, we understand that some clients may have serious underlying health issues that would make it risky to come into the office, so now we can come to you virtually- right through your laptop, desktop computer or mobile device.
A couple of things to remember when doing virtual visits!
Make sure that you have a dedicated space that is private and confidential so that you feel comfortable enough to engage in the counseling process- our therapists are doing the same!
Understand that when doing virtual visits, you must take into consideration that there may be technical challenges that occur, have patience, we are working hard to make sure that everything is running in tip-top shape but some things, like technology, are out of our control.
If you have any technical issues with using our platform, please check out the Doxy.me's Troubleshooting or email our fearless leader- Samantha!
We look forward to providing you with the best possible virtual counseling experience!
We have provided a PDF version of our Virtual Visit Informed consent, you can download it, sign and send it to: Sarah@peakprofessionalgroup.com or bring it to your next appointment. If you have an active Client Portal with us, we can send it that way as well, just ask your therapist!
