Meet Alajah Fitchpatrick- Clinical Intern
Alajah is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan. She is especially interested in exploring comorbidity and dual diagnoses, with a focus on how mental and physical health intersect. Alajah is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being vulnerable, expressing themselves, and working through their challenges.
She values trust, partnership, and safety, and believes in the power of face-to-face connection. Alajah enjoys building rapport through direct engagement and tailoring her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. She is particularly committed to promoting self-determination and autonomy, which she sees as essential to sustainable growth and healing.
Outside of her work, Alajah enjoys cooking, watching football, spending quality time with her partner, dog, family, and friends, and doing arts and crafts.
She is excited to be joining the Peak team and looks forward to working with you!
