Meet Allessandra
As a marriage and family therapist, Allessandra focus on understanding people in the context of their relationship—with their partners, children, parents, families, and themselves. Focus is not on assigning blame, but on increasing understanding, compassion, and choice—so clients can create healthier, more intentional relationships.
In practice, that often includes:
• Couples and relationship therapy- supporting partners with communication, conflict resolution, rebuilding trust, intimacy, and navigating life transitions.
• Child development and family systems- working with children and parents around boundaries and cycles we get stuck in, understanding developmental stages, parenting, and positive ways to connect.
• Attachment and emotional regulation- strengthening secure attachment, increasing emotional awareness, and developing healthier ways to manage emotions.
• Life transitions and stressors- marriage or remarriage, separation/divorce, adoption, blending families, grief, children growing up and leaving the home, and other major changes.
Throughout treatment, she is curious and compassionate, looking for ways to help clients build a supportive system that will help them heal and thrive.
She is well-versed in:
• Systems theory- she views concerns in the context of relational patterns and help clients understand how interactions, roles, and cycles maintain difficulties.
• Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)- she support individuals, families and couples in identifying their underlying emotional and attachment needs and how to express and receive those in healthy spaces.
• Attachment-based therapy- she explores how early relational experiences shape current expectations, behaviors, and emotional responses relationships.
