Meet Leslye

My areas of focus include supporting children in developing emotional regulation, coping skills, and impulse control, as well as helping teens and adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and substance use. I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, substance use concerns, overwhelming emotions, and negative thinking patterns, including catastrophic or self-critical thoughts. I also support clients struggling with unhelpful habits and patterns.

I use a flexible, client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s needs. My work often integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness techniques. I focus on helping clients build self-awareness, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop resilience and coping strategies.

My approach with clients is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where children, teens, and adults feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. I focus on building a trusting relationship, helping clients feel understood, and fostering self-awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.

Potential clients should know that I am a warm, approachable, and bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) who works with children, teens, and adults. I focus on creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel understood and supported. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, stress, depression, substance use concerns, negative thinking patterns, and unhelpful habits, always tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, and being outdoors with my dogs, Jeezy and Fifi.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and client-centered. I tailor sessions to meet each individual’s needs. I prioritize creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns.

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a greater understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, as well as practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and unhelpful habits. They will experience a supportive and safe environment that fosters self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience.
