Meet Panka
With a warm, collaborative, and practical approach to therapy, Panka Cassar, LCMHCA is dedicated to helping clients navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-understanding. She believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, supported, and accepted, and strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients can safely explore their experiences while building practical skills for lasting growth.
She works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and ADHD-related challenges. She also has a special interest in supporting individuals healing from emotionally complex or high-conflict relationships.
Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, and practical coping strategies. She works collaboratively with each client, helping them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns while developing tools they can apply in their everyday lives. She believes therapy should be both compassionate and actionable, meeting clients where they are and moving at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
Panka earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Seton Hall University. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), she is committed to ongoing professional growth and providing thoughtful, individualized care to every client she serves.
Clients working with Panka can expect to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, practical coping skills, and increased confidence in navigating stress, relationships, and life's transitions. Her goal is to empower clients to create meaningful, lasting change while building resilience and emotional well-being.
