Meet Tiffany

Tiffany specializes in working with children and adolescents of all orientations or gender identities in school-based therapy settings. Tiffany is passionate about working with youth experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and helping them to improve their overall well-being.

Tiffany believes a client’s therapy journey is a collaborative process and works to incorporate the client’s goals, needs, values, age, development, family system, and environment into a personalized treatment plan. Tiffany uses a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches when working with children and teens including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, DBT mindfulness interventions, Play Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Art Therapy.

Tiffany’s style of therapy promotes a supportive, non-judgmental haven for clients to process their experiences and emotions. She works to provide a compassionate space in which clients can explore and achieve their goals of personal growth and well-being.

Her trauma-informed approach to therapy is enhanced through her experience working with and advocating for children and teens placed in foster care. Tiffany honors each client as an expert in their own life and offers an affirming space for each client to overcome challenges and build resiliency. Tiffany works with clients to increase their emotional regulation abilities, increase their vocabulary of feelings and emotions, and to build a tool kit of healthy coping techniques.

Sessions with Tiffany focus on clients’ strengths and building self-worth. Motivational Interviewing is incorporated throughout sessions and often results in clients feeling heard, validated, and empowered to move forward in their life journey.
